Friends Scholarship

This scholarship in the amount of $750 will be awarded to any Saugerties student who is eligible to attend a college or university in pursuit of a higher education, and has assisted the public and/or school library in any way.

The Friends help students reach new heights.

The 2010 winner of the $750 scholarship was Michael Every, an honor student at Saugerties High School. Michael designed our website and made all the arrangements to get us on-line.  He is attending Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in Physics.

To apply or the Friends Scholarship, you must:

1. Be a Saugerties resident.

2. Be eligible to attend a college or university in pursuit of a higher education

3. Has assisted  the public library and/or school library
